‘Won’t let go’: Apple sells its first Apple TV 4K gaming console to Apple, analyst predicts
The first Apple gaming console, the 4K Apple TV, is set to go on sale in Australia next month, according to analyst and analyst Joe Kors.
Kors said he expects the first model to sell for $500, while the second one will cost $1,000.
Advertisement The analyst told AM that he was confident in the new product because it would make a huge difference to gaming on the TV.
“It’s the first gaming console from Apple and I believe it will make a big difference to gamers who have never had a gaming console,” he said.
“This console has the most advanced video capture and processing, and is designed to be the perfect companion for gaming on a 4K TV.”
The 4K model, which is powered by Nvidia’s Maxwell graphics chip, is likely to cost $3,000-$4,000 more than the $500 model.
“They’ve got the specs of a new 4K console,” Kors told AM.
“The specs for the 4k console are very similar to the $1k console, which makes it a good choice for those who want a high-end gaming console.”
But for the average gamer, this is a really good deal.
You’re not going to spend more than $1.50 for a gaming TV.
“Kors was referring to the price point that consumers have to pay for a 4k TV.
This new model is likely not for gamers, but will be a good deal for other users.
Apple is also working on a smaller 4K version of the Apple TV that will be available in 2017.
