‘Shes no fool’: Man dies after he used a walmart computer to break into a store
A man was found dead at a Wal-Mart store in the US state of Minnesota on Tuesday after using a walmarts computer to smash a door in and enter the store, officials said.
Police say 22-year-old Jeremy Anderson broke into the store at around 3:30pm on Tuesday and used the computer to enter the premises, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported.
The incident was initially classified as an “active shooter situation”, but later changed to a “person of interest” due to the amount of time spent inside the store.
He then tried to flee, but was apprehended and transported to a local hospital.
Police said Anderson was shot at least three times, one of which killed him.
“The person who was shot is expected to survive,” St. Charles County Sheriff Eric Anderson said.
Walmart spokesman Josh Miller said the incident was being investigated and it was not immediately clear if the victim was a store employee.””
