Meet the hackers who built the iPhone 6s in just a few days
Apple has just launched a crowdfunding campaign for the next generation of the iPhone, the iPhone X. The company has set up a page that offers to raise $1,000 for a limited time for the iPhone maker’s latest smartphone.
The campaign, which is still live, allows users to order the iPhone with a code that unlocks the phone’s hidden camera and wireless charging port, as well as unlock the phone when it is unlocked.
“The iPhone X is going to be the first iPhone in years to be completely wireless, which means the phone can be used wherever you are in the world, from the airport to your home office, and that means it will work on both 3G and 4G networks,” Apple said.
According to the campaign’s description, “the iPhone X will be the world’s first iPhone to include an IR sensor to detect when your phone is locked and unlock it automatically when you need it, and will offer an ultra-slim, sleek design, with a sleek bezel.”
The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are set to arrive in stores in September.
Apple has already announced that it is working with a handful of partners to make the iPhone and the iPhone 8 a “one-of-a-kind experience,” including Google, Intel, and Samsung.
